School History

Highland Heights Public School opened in 1960. In 2010, Highland Heights celebrated its 50 year anniversary. The school is located on Highland Road in the North End of the City of Peterborough, Ontario.

Highland Heights has a dedicated and passionate group of teachers and support staff who provide 191 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 with outstanding education. Highland Heights Public School has 1 Principal, 1 Administrative Assistant, 1 Head Custodian, 1 Evening Custodian, 1 Early Childhood Educator, 17 Support staff and 12 Teachers that all make a difference in the lives of students.
